Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

Hola amigos perros, amigos de los perros y gattos,

Translation: Hello everybody out there! I bet you didn't know I could speak Spanish but I can, except for when my mom gets mad at me in Spanish, then I pretend I no comprender her.

Anyways, today is not just May 5th, but it's also a day to honor Mexico, it's people, their dogs and to drink margaritas till we hit the floor, well at least that's what my parents will be doing. As for myself, I will be barking about two very special Mexican dogs today, my cousins Odie and Louie! Two brothers who don't look like they share a mother but do share each other's couch on a regular basis.

Meet Odie! He likes to sleep, eat food, play tug-of-war (otherwise known as pull this and I'll growl till I win), snuggle (see picture of Odie with my uncle Danny) and swim. He's a fantastic swimmer, if only he could stop biting at the waves in the pool I know he'd be Olympic material. Odie is actually American born but his pack seems to move around a bit so he's more of a resident of the world at this point.

Next we have Louie. Mr. Louie is a breed of his own, he loves to cuddle, chase birds, cuddle some more and eat food.

Louie was actually found in Brasil on the beach. He was living the beach bum life just going with the waves when my Auntie Denise picked him up. She offered him food and just like that, he gave up his wild ways to hang out with her and her pack. We dogs are simple creatures after all, if you feed us we will come!

Louie and Odie are a hoot to be around, here they are tugging on something till Odie wins.

I sure miss these guys. I know they're probably really comfy on their couch but hopefully someday we can play in my backyard here in the U.S. I got some moves I wanna try on them that would rival the best Luchadore. The helicopter, the sneak attack, the pin down till they yelp Uncle, the gnawing on every part of their body till they're annoyed, yep I'm ready!

Might be a little while before we can take a walk together but I'm looking forward to it. Until then, Happy Cinco de Mayo my cousins from south of the border and to everyone else too!

Ooh, gotta vamonos before mom gets the chancla! Muchos gracias por sitting, staying and reading, good human!
