My First Bark!

Hello to all dogs, cats and friends of dogs and cats! My name is Rosie and I'm a good dog.

My parents tell me that I'm a German Shorthair Pointer and American Staffordshire mix and that they rescued me.  But I think I rescued them. This is my blog about dog friends, cats, rescue groups that are my friends and yummy treats my mom bakes...mmmm, treats....

Yes, let's talk about my mommy's treats. They are good. I'm extremely excited to report that mom gave me a super important job, Chief-Baked-Goods Tester! She said that my job is to taste test everything she bakes and make sure it's not only ok for my dog friends,  but it tastes good too. Can you believe my luck?! Total dream job!!

Apparently, if I give the OK, she sells the rest of the treats to my dog friends to raise money for dogs who need homes. For Christmas, we raised money for the East Valley Animal Shelter: $140.00. And for Valentines Day, we raised $230.00 for the Villalobos Pit Bull Rescue! Someone told me that's a lot money! I have no idea. 

My parents took a check AND 200 cookies to Villalobos just before Valentine's Day (lucky dogs). I couldn't go cuz apparently there are too many dogs there already, but you should check out the pictures from their day.

And this is just the beginning! Not only will we continue to promote the Villalobos Pitbull Rescue, we'll help other rescues with our treats too! If you, or a dog you know, would like some delicious cookies, please let us know! Also if there is a rescue organization you want us to raise money for, email my mom and we'll help them too!
